Description
Originally painted in 1993, This was the first issue cover for the Original WaveDancers comic series. The art features Tilaweed, the mascot for the series. With this painting I learnt what treatment I wanted for the series. The new treatment will be without the heavy character linework. Though Tilaweed was a secondary character in this original WaveDancers series, she was well loved by her creators and fans alike and will feature as a major player in the new series of Elf-Fin that Julie Ditrich and I are currently working on.

Still my favorite! I remember my dad owned a comic book store when I was little I loved wave dancer and elf quest so much I would sneak them out and spend hours looking at them! but she was my favorite. I still have them and love to try and draw them. Most beautiful artwork ever! Your art is one of the main reason I grew up wanted to write children's books and have beautiful illustrations!
