Safety-Belt Man and Tammy.

This was the back cover to #3 of Safety-Belt Man. It was the next thing I did (published February 1995) after working on WaveDancers. The story is by the publisher Robb Horan, and it was a delightful experience to draw for him.. This was my first real b/w artwork for comics I'd done professionally, so it was an exciting challenge. I did the first 14 pages in Part 1, and "Dark One" did Part 2. I then went on to do the 4th issue interior art on my own, as well as the cover art.

I met Robb Horan and toured with him for several days on a signing trip to the USA. We had the best time.

Robb, if you see this, please do contact me, I'd love to have a hi-rez scan of this original art (at 300DPI), and the other original artwork that you have of mine (like the cover art to Safety Belt #4 and the Rosette artwork you have), as I did not have a scanner when these works were created. I'd like to include these images in my "art of" book when the opportunity arises.

Thanks so much, I guess I am guilty of presenting women ...not so modestly, but here, Tammy is as Tammy should be....I have a lovely sexy pin-up version I did of her, if Robb the publisher would kindly send me a scan....otherwise I only have a printed version from the comic.

It's cool to see a professional's work. I'm not really good but I have sold some of my sketches, and I did work for a guy who was publishing a health book. But all of your stuff is awesome. I bet one day you'll become a known name along with picasso...that's the only name I can spell.

Not bad...which pics are on your cards, is it from many different works or just a few? (I still have almost no money right now so I won't be able to afford it right away...hopefully it'll be available in a couple months still?)

There are 100 images in the card set. Some from here that I've shared on deviantart, and some that I've not released online. You'll have to get a set to see the collection.

The boots were fun to create. I'd love to see them made real (with my licence for the design...of course).

The comic is cute. Availble from Sirius Entertainment, the original publishers of DAWN.

LOL i lover her expresstion. like "Oh my!" All of it flows well and he looks like one cool hero, kind of a bad ass crash dummy. Also her hair is awsome! I would love hair like that. I've love most all over your stuff since i first saw it in Wavedancers. soo cool!

Thank you, yeah, this is the beginnings of Safety-Belt Man, so Tammy is drawn into the experience of this hero. It's a fun story by Robb Horan. Safety-Belt Man was a crash test dummy before he became a hero.
